I checked on all my selloff sites, and I don't see any deals for it yet.
maybe by 2010 I'll be able to get a last minute deal. I'll keep watching.

I know, the devil made you do this? And sucked me into responding too 
Its already moving up the chain! More posts than Bermuda, Curacao and St. Kitts, and you can land big planes on those islands!
First things first, maybe we should find an aerial shot of the runway, an A320 filled with AI tourons may not work here  What's at the end of the runway, the caribbean sea or a mountain? Is there enough braking power in a A320 for this place?
Oddly enough, I can't find any photos. Maybe people are too occupied gripping the arms of their seat to take pictures?

Sint Eustatius, or Statia.
The name Statia comes from St Anastasia, as it was named by Columbus, but the Dutch later changed it to Sint Eustatius. The island is dominated by the long-extinct volcano called �The Quill� at the south end, inside which is a lush rainforest where the locals hunt land crabs at night. Visitors are advised, however, to go there only during the day. The north part of the island is hilly and uninhabited except for Statia Terminals, a fuel depot; most people live in the central plain which surrounds the airport.
Statia is quiet and friendly and the poorest of the three Windward Islands, with only 2,100 people living on the 30.6 square kilometers island. A variety of nationalities are represented, the island having changed hands 22 times in the past, but the majority are of black African descent. Everybody speaks English, although Dutch is the official language and is taught in schools.

OK getting serious if we can  Pastor you may have in fact discovered a gem here. Like going back in time.

The island's tourism office has a nice web site with an interesting virtual tour, although if you click on Oranjestad Beach, I don't see any sand However the 360 from Signal Hill does show a runway with no potential problems landing or taking off, albiet rather short:

And if I want to be reassured about my health, here's a direct quote from the tourism office as to the ability to drink the islands watrer! I'm sorry it's so technical and long to read, but we must be reassured!

I was in a fully loaded 727 converted to carry freight. It was the first "big" plane to land on the Island. Was quite a spectacle at the time. The runway runs across the width of the island with sea on both ends, but quite a distnce from the end of the runway.
The pilot had to brake hard, hard enough to make your arms and legs stick straight out from the pressure. He had lots of room to stop, just wanted to be sure. After all, this was the first time. The next few times it landed it took the entire runway without such hard braking needed.
I wouldn't particularly like to see this island overrun with tourons, but if you want a taste of relaxation in an historic atmosphere, this is the place for you. AI? forget it, lol.
